Freelance Illustrator
Nora Thompson is an illustrator, graphic designer and fine artist, and has been illustrating professionally since 1991. She’s the creator of characters called The Rots, which have been compared to the artwork of Edward Gorey, Charles Addams and Tim Burton. She included Rots in her first book, Twisted: Tales to Rot Your Brain Vol. 1, and received rave reviews from Publishers Weekly, Midwest Book Review and Kirkus Reviews. Thompson holds the position of Illustration Coordinator for the Western Pennsylvania chapter of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and is a life member of the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators.
