Writer – (Tales of the starlight Drive-In, Phantom Jack)
Mike Sangiacomo has been writing a comic book news and review column for the Plain Dealer newspaper of Cleveland since 1993. He has been collecting comics since the early 1960s and has been teaching a course in the history of comics at Case Western Reserve University for more than 10 years.
He is the author of the award-winning TALES OF THE STARLIGHT DRIVE-IN (Image); Phantom Jack (Image) and Phantom Jack: The Nowhere Man Agenda (IDW). His latest project is a horror/crime graphic novel called CHALK. A few advance copies of the book will be available at the show. He is working on a series with Mike Gustovich called “The Power of Seven,” about a group of teenagers who get powers from the Cleveland house where Jerry Siegel created Superman.
